Week 1 scenario - closed

This thread will open up on April 1st for gaming and Score Reporting

Week #1.

The Weeks Army Setup: 850 points. Up to 6 troops and 2 HQ (minimum 2 troops and one HQ). Retinues and Dedicated transports are okay. No vehicled with an armor value of greater than 12. No Elites, Heavies or fast attack may be taken. No models with 4 or more wounds.

Scenario: Planet Fall

Your objectives are simple. Clear and establish a landing zone to allow the movement of personnel and supplies to the surface of Zerithon Prime

Setup:
For this first week only, this Scenario will be played on a 4' x 4' section of table.

Roll off to determine who will choose the deployment zone. This person, the defender, will also deploy first and take the first turn.

Divide the table into 4 table quarters. The defender may choose which table quarter to deploy in, and the opponent will take the opposite quarter. Nothing may be deployed within 6" from the center of the table. Infiltrators are deployed normally.

Playing the Game:

Random Game Length.

Primary Objective (Win/Loss/Tie): Clear the area. All table quarters must be cleared of the enemy to establish a landing zone.

At the end of the game you will count how many table quarters there are on the table that do NOT contain any enemy units (this includes all non scoring units). If you have cleared more zones at the end of the game than the enemy has, you have secured the victory. (This means you don't have to control anything - just clear the enemy off the ground)

Any fleeing, destroyed, or imobilized models do not count as being in a table quarter at the end of the game.

Each unit may only be considered to be in one table quarter. If it is in multiple quarters at the end of the game, it is really in the one where the majority of the vehicle or unit is located. If this cannot be decided, roll a die at the end of the game.

Report in the forum whether each player won, lost or drew.

Secondary Objective: Use Victory Points and report the amount of Victory Points each army earned in the forum.
