| Week #2
The Weeks Army Setup: 850 points. Up to 6 troops and 2 HQ (minimum 2 troops and one HQ). Retinues and Dedicated transports are okay. No vehicles with an armor value of greater than 12. No Elites, Heavies or fast attack may be taken. No models with 4 or more wounds.
Scenario: The Road to Shamzar
Shamzar is a nearby conclave of imperial Miners, and it was this conclave that discovered the strange stones. As supplies are brought down to planetside to establish a basehead, a smaller force is tasked with the mission to clear and hold a route to Shamzar. A single road leads from the basehead to the town of Shamzar.
Setup: This weeks scenario will be played on a 6’ x 4’ table. Both players should establish a road on the playing table. Ideally the road is 6” wide and runs from one corner of the table to the opposite corner. Special Rule: Any unit that begins its turn on the road and stays on the road, until the end of its movement phase, may move an extra d6” during the moving phase. Prior to rolling for turn, take one objective and place it in the very center of the road at the middle of the table. The other 2 objective will be placed half way between the center objective and the board edges, but remaining on the road. (Strips of paper can be used to represent the road if needed, as can rows of dice, if need be).
Roll off to determine who will choose to go first or second. The player that goes first may choose deployment zone. Deployment zones are 12” deep
Playing the Game:
Random Game Length.
Primary Objective (Win/Loss/Tie): Secure the road. The player that controls the most objectives on the road at the end of the game is the winner. Only scoring units may control an objective, per the rulebook. Any unit may contest an objective.
Secondary Objective: Use Victory Points and report the amount of Victory Points each army earned in the forum.

The Boyz went a little crazy after the Boss got killed and left the objectives. All in all it was the "bestest" ork move to make. Ork Horde vs Bugs made for a good game.

The Tau in the sector still haven't fought the Tyranid invasion on their own terms. It was hard for them to outmaneuver the scuttling horde and only one group of fire warriors survived the battle.
Their commander, lacking knowledge of the tactics of the Hive Mind, challenged some of the largest bugs to close combat. He soundly, even heroically, defeated one before being dragged to his death at the hungry claws of a swarm of hormagaunts. Hopefully the data his last warriors escaped with will keep his death from being in vain. Their next commander will have a better chance of victory thanks to this battle.
