2500 Bretonnian

Hey guys, I am going to start fantasy and was thinking of doing Bretonnians. What do you guys think of this list?

I am thinking that I can use the men-at-arms to engage the opponent's horde force, and then hit them in the flanks with my cav. The Pegasus knights will attack opposing war machines, while my shooting units targets their smaller units. What do you guys think?

Everything look good except for the Knight of the Realm units with the conqueror's banner. You cannot take multiples of a magic item. To help win combats, you could give one of the knight units the warbanner instead. I would also drop all the extra stuff (command, light armour, and braziers) on the bowmen, and add more models to the unit. The knight units are, in my opinion, the perfect size for Bretonnians. Pegasus knights are a must. Characters look good...not terrible but not over the top.

Keep the braziers. It gives you flaming attacks.

I didn't know that the banners were unique. What do you guys think about using the chalons banner that doesn't let the unit being charged stand and shoot instead? That and dropping the musicians and standard bearers in the bowmen units lets me take 8 more bowmen making each unit 20 strong.

Yeah, that looks better. More bowmen can never hurt.

I don't know pointswise, but you could drop the brackets off of one unit. If you hit something that has regen with flaming it loses it for the remainder of the phase. So open up with flaming, second volley from the unflamed unit.

Braziers are dirt cheap like 5 or 10 points keep it on both units!

I don't know most of the names of what all the banners are the only ones I remember being terribly useful are the ignore terrain banner and the can't stand and shoot banner. Peg knights don't need command really. It's expensive and doesn't net a whole lot. Love the 40x men at arms! I prefer knights in 12 (3x4) to help break steadfast on the charge or a lot of armies will tie up your knights. When brets get clogged down in war of attrition they'll loose. Mostly looks good. The lore on your wizards is life and beasts? If not I'd recommend it. I think only the lord lvl wizard can take life... I'd look into that. A lvl 4 with life on a horse and a 2 with beast on foot with the men at arms.

On a side note 2 trebuchas are good but know that it may make some people Mr. McPoopy pants. (aka can be frowned upon depending on opponents.)

All and all looks good. I think bretts are super cool, so have fun with them.
