| Just a little bit more info for the tournament. Rules: •All models must represent what they are supposed to be according to the rules they are being used under. WYSIWYG is the rule (What you see is what you get). However, miniatures need not be produced by any particular corporation. •Miniatures do not need to be painted, but every miniature needs to be fully assembled with all of the appropriate pieces and properly based. •Army lists are due by Friday September 10th. •Armies will consist of 1850 points using a standard force organization chart. •Forge World/Imperial Armor units are not allowed, however players may still use their Forge World models to represent a unit from their codex. •Individual units that may have multiple rules versions will follow the rules presented in that army's codex. Yes, this means a Black Templar Land Raider will function differently than a standard Space Marine Land Raider. Please take the time to review the relevant GW FAQ's for clarifications. •Special/Unique/Named Characters may be fielded, provided their individual rules allow them to be used in armies of 1850 pts or less. •You must provide access to your own dice, templates, pen/pencil, calculator, or anything else you'll need during the course of regular play. •A separate printed army list is required for the judges and your opponents. You can use our printer if you need to. Army lists are $1.00 each. •There will be no judging on army comp, but be reminded that no one likes to play that player. Make sure your army is fun to play with as well as play against.
An overall Champion will be crowned along with a runner up and honorable mention based solely on Battle points. Scoring Battle Points (12-60)
Every participant will be able to earn a maximum of 20 Battle points per game:
Win 16 Loss 4 Tie 8
Objective 4 Victory conditions will be defined in the scenario, and/or in the main rulebook, as applicable. In addition to winning each game, players will be able to score 4 additional battle points by achieving the objective defined in the scenario. Only one player will be able to achieve the objective in each game. Please note that if you show up late to a start time,do not finish your game in the allotted time, or act in an unsporting manner you will have a battle point deducted from your final score for each incident.

| Just a last minute reminder about the tournament this Saturday at TSE. We can take a few more guys if anyone is interested. The cost is low and we have some really good guys coming out to play. We welcome all levels of player at our tournament and the goal is always to have a great time. On a seperate note, One of the contestants asked me about the 1850 points limit. We are going to start hosting more in store events and would like to get your opinion. Do you like the 1850 limit or would you rather see a larger or smaller game? Give me reasons with your answer and be specific with the amount that you would like to see so that I can adjust or not adjust as needed. As always, we are here to listen to our customers and to try and meet their needs and wants within reason. I don't think that I can come through with the Red Headed street walker for every entrant at our tournaments, sorry Brent. But I did give it the old college try. | |

| Brian - two points 1) I prefer 2000 points because nationally, tournaments (aside from Throne of Skulls...) seem to be moving to that point, and it is good practice. Alternatively, 1500 points would enable newer players/ players with new armies, and provide practice for Vegas. 1850 seems like the worst of both worlds. 2) If you can get one redhead per table I'm sure in the interest of sportsmanship I could share with my opponent. | |

| Glad everyone enjoyed the day. Would have loved to have a few more, but the ones that were here were top notch. Even Brent took a shower before attending. Miracles will never cease. We will definitely be doing this again soon and be on the look out for more info later in the week on our upcoming October 40K and Fantasy Events. Halloweenee is getting close. | |
