See, I don't mean nicks. I mean deep wounds that take several days, possibly weeks, to heal

Ah, ok. Then if that's the criteria, I'd be a kabillionaire

they've got a spray accelerant at the campus bookstore. i'm not sure on the price, but they recently started carrying it when they expanded their glue offerings

Oh nice! I need to go check it out then. I bought some from Hobby Lobby before I read this though. It took me two trips to realize where it was....

So my incubi woes continue. Can anyone tell me how to glue metal models together? I have put some together before, but these just dont want to stay together. I glued them last night and let them sit. Woke up this morning and was able to tear them apart with almost no force. Went and bought some gorilla super glue and accelerator and they are doing the same thing.

Wash them, let them dry, and use very little superglue. Just a small dot, hold for 30 sec or so, let sit for several hours.

Thanks for the speedy reply. That is definately the problem after I thought about it for a second. I was using incredible amounts of superglue.

Excessive amounts of super glue and accelerator make for brittle models. Less is more.

No problem. I'm just glad it worked better for you.

Yeah, the ones that I left to sit all got this weird foam all around them that was really hard to remove (from excessive acelerant and glue)
