Skaven or Empire

Dad has narrowed it down to either empire or skaven if he trades or sells his Dark elves, but he is still not sure which so yeah, he is just trying to look at these and decide which one, so he is just wondering-
Which is better?
Which is more fun?
Which is going to be more expensive?

Neither is better both can be pretty sick.
More fun... Skaven? lots of silly rules.
Empire will be more expensive.

I would put Skaven in a slightly higher power level than Empire.

Both are fun. Skaven has better plastic kits IMHO.

Really? I think the abomination & bell/furnace kits are fantastic compared to the stank

Oh well yes that I agree with. I think Skaven have better models sculpts. I meant as far as the which is better

Both are competative I would say the empire is a bit nastier.

I'm taking empire to round 2 ard boyz.

LOL I read my previous post where I said neither are better. I do think if your going for a WAAC list than empire can be more nasty. However the 'good' skaven lists are fun to play against. The 'good' empire lists tend to urinate people off.

Yeah, power-level wise they are both fun, competitive, and have solid tournament builds.

Both are pretty much all plastic armies now, so costwise they will run around the same. You obviously need a lot more skaven, so it might be sightly more expensive for you. Using a lot of the Island of Blood would offset that.
