| The special character is hit/miss based on the fact that most tournies don't allow specials. Just a heads up. You might want to put a back-up plan in place for those points.
Your BSB also probably needs the Beast Banner. It's handy. I'd also put the Bray shaman on Beasts out of the Book. It's a much better lore than the beastie's unless your whole plan is to go for the mantle.

| Is that the magic banner, banner of outrage? Also, what do you mean on the shaman? | |

| I think it's actually called the Beast Banner - it's a magic banner that the BSB carries. It gives the unit he's with +1 strength. Very nice in a large unit. Both Beastmen players I played this weekend had it.
You have to pick your wizard's lore at the start of any tournament. You're better off going with the lore of Beasts, out of the rulebook, as it's a better lore than the Wild Lore (or whatever the Beastman lore is).

| Oh yeah...I made a couple recent edits. One of them was giving the shaman level 4 and giving him lore of beasts. I dropped the doombulls special weapon and gave him blackened plate and ahw. I combined the two units of minotaurs into one and gave the bestigors the flame banner. Lastly, I have the wargor gnarled hide. I didnt think of these things myself...I am actually in a thread on another site where they are feeding me info also, lol.
How did the beastmen armies do at sooie?

| Middle of the pack, I believe.
I played a warm-up match against that just had four massive blocks of troops and a ghorgon and was able to squeak out a win against him.
I played a game mid-Shiloh w/ beasts and it was a draw. He was playing smaller, units but more of them. I 'think' i should have won the game, but I couldn't make pursue rolls to save my life.

| If it were me, I would combine both units of 3 Minotaurs. Single, small units don't have the staying power and can't disrupt ranks. Combining them could make a fun support unit. | |

| Yeah, I'm not 100% on the mechanics, but wouldnt that mean that the minotaurs can become frenzied from the bull?
Also, I'm pretty sure i NEED this model.

Yes. He has the Slaughterer's Call special rule which passes his frenzy to any unit of minos that he joins.
