in the rules for norse heroes, there are two (wulfen and berserker) that are not allowed to equip armor. does this mean that neither get a save when receiving a wound?

correct.

You would most certainly probably want them to have a sword for a parry.

thanks. say I equip a berserker with a sword and axe, the rules say you make 1 attack with one and the rest with the other. If I attack and use the sword once, and then the rest with the axe to get it's bonus, would that affect my ability to use parry at all?

Correct on how it is handled. You would probably make 1 attack with sword and all others with axe (or vice versa, though the axe is better offensively). You would still be able to make one parry per round since the sword was in hand.

If you had used a buckler and sword, you would be able to reroll one failed parry per round.

ah, a good notion, but being disallowed armor prevents me from taking the buckler regardless. It looks like the 'zerkers only defense will be his toughness and having the sword parry
