I have two dreadnoughts from AOBR. I want to run ironclad dreads though. How would I go about converting them?

scratch that actually...just read that ironclads are the least fluffy option out there for raven guard...on a similar note though, how would I remodel AOBR dreadnough to get the weapons I wanted on it?

Depends on what you have to work with. If you have extra arms from another dread they should work fine. Barring that it shouldn't be to difficult to convert the arms it has. for example, say you wanted a plasma cannon. Just carefully saw off the multi-melta and smooth the area out, then take a plasma cannon from the devastator sprue and saw the back end off. after that just glue the 2 pieces together.

What kind of load out are you looking for? Depending what you need I might have spare bits lying around.

Hope that helps!

Are your dreads fleet? If so, multi-melta/DCCW is what I would run. melta if you can't reach it, run and hulk-smash if you can. i dunno from dreads though. Razz

It's more of a vehicle buster, so only run it into dudes if you either:

A. Can't avoid them (they charge you) or

B. Don't have any vehicles left to murdalize.

EDIT:

For longer range tanks bustings, use a lascannon or if they can take it a TL las cannon. not sure if you can take it though, seeing as how I don't yet play SM.
