You buy and paint one of the new 5 man command squad of imperial guard by the 26th then submit pics to Bell of lost souls. Winner gets a shiny new Valkyrie model.

Well I got em painted up this week. I will have to post some pics here as soon as I get em took.

Well here they are all done up. I just sent my entry in over at BOLS. I was pleased with the way they turned out.
This puts me up to 1 command squad and 18 Imperial Guardsmen painted. Man I have a long way to go...

I've been thinking about using the Pig Iron heads myself, especially since I'll be adding any Cadians I do to the Steel Legion models I already own. The only reason I've hesitated is that I really wish they had a head with that helmet, but without the gas mask. There will be plenty of models in the force without gas masks, what with advisers and other specialist troops, so I'd like to have a few basic troops without them as well. I could use some random unhelmeted heads from a variety of sources, but I think it would be nice to have that Pig Iron helmet without the gas mask.

As for having a long way to go, get two more models done and you can technically field your required choices: 1 Company command squad and 2 veteran squads

Squad looks great! They turned out nice. Did you use a razor saw to cut the helmet off for the ones with the hats? You should put this up on the blog too!

I'm pretty sure the heads with hats instead of helmets are from the militia command heads, not a further mod.
