Ard boyz list

I was thinking about playing in the Ard Boyz this year. I probably will not because it's one weekend before the big waaagh. I thought I would put a list together anyway. A lot of the list is simply the models I have... so I know it isn't as Ard as it could be. 2500 is a bit much. I think this list is ok for some of the smaller more local Ard Boyz. This list in no way could compete with a later down the road ard boyz list, so even if I did win I wouldn't go to round 2. What do you all think about the list and the Ard Boyz in general?

I think this looks like a pretty good list. You have enough deep striking and armor simply to keep most people off balance. I also think you have a good balance of speed and a mix of flamer and melta (all twin linked) for horde/mech. The only army that might give you trouble would be a Nidzilla/Daemonzilla army with spammed high toughness multiwould creatures - but then what army does that not give a hard time to?

I wanted to play in the 'ard boyz, as well, but don't think playing (3) 2500 point games the weekend before the waaagh would be a good idea. I think i would be pretty much burnt out after two straight weekends of 40k!

I may get there if I can get out of drill. I was going to be in Louisiana during this and I was going to play in Baton Rouge, but I just found out that they are not having it until the 12th. I thought it had to be on the 11th according to GW.

So I will not be able to attend this year unless some sort of miracle happens and I can get in. If I do get in I will play orks.
