| The next SOCHG will be held on February the 13th, 2010. Point size will be 2,000 and lists must be in by February the 6th in order to qualify for the $10 entry fee. After that time lists will be accepted up to noon on February the 12th but the fee will jump to $20. Due to simple logistics problems lists will not be accepted after that time.
There will be some twists to the events this time, hopefully taking into account Nachos' snow board and the new board I am feverishly trying to get finished. Otherwise expect some variations on the usual scenarios. Any scenario ideas are welcome; I will entertain any suggestions.
More info will develop later; please stay tuned.

| Just a friendly reminder:
All lists are due by this coming Friday; February the 6th. We'll be having a MGT tournament this coming weekend as well so please make sure you have your lists in by this Friday. We might not have time to get the lists validated properly if they are submitted after that date.
Thanks! | |

| No Comp at all.
Sports as per RTT rules; with forms passed out.
Paint will be judged by either myself or another person associated as a staff member of CHG.

| No paint is necessary at all; however there will be a $25 prize in the form of a gift certificate good towards anything in the store for Best Paint. Scoring for Paint will also be by RTT rules.
1st place Battle: $40 GC
2nd place Battle: $25 GC
3rd place Battle: $15. GC
Best Sports will be a $15 GC with ties going to the person with the lowest score in Battle (Perseverance in the face of Adversity)

and rtt for that matter. Comp scores refer to your opponent scoring you on the composition of your army. If you got a low Comp score it can affect your overall score for the tournament. I prefer not to use Comp scores. RTT = Rogue Trader Tournament rules; the basic rules set down by GW for running tournaments.

| Thanks to everyone who turned in their lists; we'll be combing over them for any errors and will post any problems as needed.
It's not entirely too late for any latecomers; but late army lists will only be accepted up to Friday the 12th at 6 pm.
Thanks. | |

| Wait, Brent: is your list called the "Slavering Wolves" or something? I thought that was monkey's list. I'm so confused. | |

Yes, that's correct. Plus each board will have a special vp location worth 2 battle points. That makes them important, but doesn't totally unbalance the game if you wax your opponent but he wins because he has the special vp location. Be warned, however; that at some point we might run a scenario that is built just around the special vp location. It will be a game winner if you have it, a loser if you don't.

Yep, sorry about the confusion. "Slavering Horde" just wasn't a name I imagined you to use. You look more like a "Wolves of War" type of guy.
