GW Modular Tables Empty
PostSubject: GW Modular Tables   GW Modular Tables Icon_minitime21st November 2009, 11:14 pm

With the approach of Sooiepalooza, the subject of what to spend our Terrain allowance came up. I am thinking about adding 2 more modular tables. I realize that most of thereaders of this forum are avid 40K players, and that the modular tables are perfect for that game. However, Sooie is a Fantasy event. Now that they are offering flat panels, I am thinking about just applying for them, leaving the hills alone, and finishing the sections for tournament play.

Right now, at TSE, all our tables are modular tables, and 2 of the 3 only have the 1 hill set on it, basically a Fantasy table. However, as we found at the tournament last week, a 40K event, a flat table works very well with the buildings setting on it. It makes a perfect City Fight battle scape. I was also thinking of adding the new fortress to the terrain for 40K. We are getting an allottment of just 1 of those limited pieces, and I am thinking about using it for our 40K collection of scenery.

I have become a huge fan of the modular tables, they are easy to set up, they look fantastic, they are very portabllem and they are durable. After playing on them for almost an entire year, I really have become spoiled. Others that play regularly at TSE have told me the same thing. Anyway, we are going to keep the modular tables up at the shop, and what I am debating is whether or not to get the hill with the tables or just to use the flat sections. Any thoughts?
