October Tournament

We are now taking entries for the October Character BAsh at TSE. This will be single elimination events in both 40K and in Fantasy. Your army must be led by a special named character, and that model must be painted. You are welcome to enter both 40K and Fantasy events.

This tournament will be an ongoing event throughout the entire month of October, culminating in a Saturday afternoon Haloween throwdown. If you wish more details you need to call Dennis at

Sounds like a lot of fun - though a lot of the Hogs won't be able to make it. Big D will be a daddy but of a week when the showdown happens, and Halloween involves a party not to be missed for a lot of us!

The Fantasy side is filling quickly! The 40K side is sorely lacking in participants. Is it because there are just no 40K characters worthy of leading your forces throughout the entire month of October? Don't be disallusioned! The Space Wolves are coming out, and they will be character laden! It's just that they won't be out in time for this event! Sorry!

Where art thou?

2 Qualifying games were played on Wednesday Oct 7. Ratmen vs Lizards and Brets vs Orcs.

The Rats were led by Verminlord, and he pasted the ground with roasted lizard guts! Jezzails, Warp Lightning Cannon, and Storm Demon firing at will, and in the end it was a win for Thanquol.

The Brets were led into the fray by Warhammerworld, and they found the ground to be suitable for a thorough trouncing of the Orcs. Lances led unstoppable charges, while flying monsters patrolled and controlled the heavens. In the end it was a win for King Leo!

That sets up the first round for this coming week. Thanquol and the Verminlord will battle with the King of Bretonnia from Warhammerworld, and after their qualifying battles, it looks like a true contest of super powers that will see battle.

There are also 3 other contests scheduled for this week. The Wood Elves will be facing the High Elves in a battle of Magic, Skirmishing dancers, and just plain bad form.

The forces of Manfred will be manning up against the Tzeentch magicians, and someone will be blinded by the light!

In the final contest the Waagh Grimgor will face the Suneater!
