Ard Boyz is dead!

Allegedly, no official announcement.

Should we replace this locally with a 2.5k 40k and/or 3k WFB soft scoreless event? Since you don't have to worry about the terrible kids from BFE showing up because the Internet lists it on a site, this could be a fun 3 round 1dayer to just bring big sticks and push models around.

Thoughts?

Althought I am curious WHY they would cancel ard boyz.

It is official there are no more Ard' Boyz tournaments. GW thinks that they were appealing to a very small segment of the gaming community and want to focus on things that would encompass more of their patrons.

The article sums it up pretty well. They did nothing but give armies away, just shelving a loss leader.

Understandable, lots of money into it for little return
