I went ahead and put Big_D's O&G down. That puts us at 9-9-1 and almost TWENTY people interested in playing.

Normally I don't get to let down this many people all at once. I'm very excited!

I've also edited the campaign rules to reflect the Oct. tournament scoring system.

I might b able to get my dad to play his Dark Elves(probably not but hey its possible)

I don't know if you know what conventions in writing are, but the parenthesis phase following anything you say about your dad has become one. Your dad seems like a pretty cool guy (he probably wont play in the fantasy campaign though!).

Havent played this edition or 7th for that matter of Fantasy yet but I could do Ogres or Lizardmen.

I will play a few tester games with you so you can learn the rules if you want

Sounds good monkeyman I live in fort smith and work 2nd shift so I can only get up that way on Saturdays and Sundays. If your available on one of those days I'm up for a learner/refresher game.

Im always available on Saturdays, and most Sundays, at Tse or where?
Also what size would you want to play and what army, we could start small(around a thousand pts) and get a little bigger if you want(1500 probably or 2000 if you want)

Just to be clear......is this good vs evil or not. I'm trying to figure out if good armies will be playing evil during this campaign.

The overall theme is good versus evil, but you can play anyone.

After much digging, I found my General's Compendium. I forgot how awesome this book is!

It has all kinds of campaign rules. It has rules for weather, alliances, and many scenarios as well. Some are small skirmishes that only involve the vanguard or scouting force from each army, all the way to scenarios with an ally!

The best part is it fits with the whole good vs. evil vibe with an alliance chart. Tells you who would be likely to follow orders from another armies general or not. Which can have an effect on a multi-player scenario.

Each army also has a special rule to use in the campaign. Keep in mind though the campaign stuff is based off of a territorial campaign and as you capture more territories, your army grows. But no reason why the scenarios and such couldn't be used if someone wanted to try something different.

Yeah, I really enjoy the General's Compendium/Mighty Empires stuff - but there's no way I would run a full map-based for 20 people.


If there's enough interest the 2nd go around we could always break into "pods" and run it that way. Like 2 10 mans or 4 5 mans...or whatever...

I too am switching armies. I have always wanted to build a Warriors of Chaos army, so I figured this would be the perfect opportunity.

Are there going to be any team good players? Seems that there will be no shortage of Chaos Warriors!

I was just gonna say i want to switch to warriors of chaos because i used to play them and i want to rebuild them!!
There's like 8 people playing Warriors of chaos

I could repaint my beastmen with a bambi paint scheme and play for team good.
