| Well I inherited around 1000 points of beastmen. Where do I go from here?
25 Ungors 29 Gors 9 Centigors 1 Khazrak the One Eyed 1 Beastlord with great weapon 1 Bray Shaman
I like the minotaurs and want to try to make some of the cool non-model stuff they have.

| If you inherit a large sum of money then a big unit of Bestigors is a good option. They were kind of mocked in 7th ed, but the 8th ed rules are much friendlier to them.
Chariots are fun.
Minotaurs are still tough.
A giant or two would be to convert into a cygor or ghorgon.
You could even start looking for a big gribbly to turn into a jabberslythe. Maelstrom Games has a lot of models to use for the new monstrous creatures in the Beastmen book.

| Will I need to expand my Gor and Ungors at 2500? | |

| Yeah. They will serve as your bunker for your casters and if you take the lore of Beasts or Life you can really bump them up.
You can also put bigger units in to be steadfast to hold units in place while your bigger gribblies come around and try to flank them.

| What are the rough numbers that people run? Like units of 20 ungors and gors? | |

| I know with 40k you want several units. Is it better to have like one block of gors here? Do I want to have like one block of 25-30 or two?

| It depends on what you want your army to do.
If you want to push around big blocks of Gor then go for it. I was suggesting you take what's called a 'bunker' for your level 4 wizard. It's basically 30 ablative wounds for your level four and you'll generally take the +1 leadership banner there too to keep the leadership up so they don't panic and run away.

| No worries there. I'm just a theory junkie. I don't have a ton of play experience, I just listen to a lot of podcasts from some of the UK top players.
Feel free to disregard.

| Capn is right, you will probably want a couple of units of 25-30 since the beast are cheap at 7 pts a piece. Also, a unit of centigors, harpies, or ambushing ungors are desperately needed to take out warmachines...they are brutal in this edition. Instead of a giant though, you are going to want to bring a cygor. Their ability to shoot, which in big in this edition, and possibly make casters miscast just for failing to successfully cast is too good to pass up. Plus, the cygor is stubborn and will get a thunderstomp attack. | |

| Plus, they will be really fun to convert....
I want to make some of the crazy stuff that they dont have models for. Aren't they suppose to be releasing them soon?
