| Anyone remember this board game? You were given like 4 or 5 grid maps and like 6-10 characters from all of the movies. You had a hand of cards and the system was basicly move and play cards to hurt your opponent. Is there any tabletop game out there that resembles this? I want a skirmish style game that is simple has paintable minis.
Here is a link to the game...

| i have a copy of this at home, it's not table topped size, though, i'd say (from memory) the boards you play on are 11x17 at best, it's movement and ranges are based entirely on the square grid.
the dice is rolled to see how many of your characters can move, and how far they can go. each has a set range, and combat is played out by playing cards (each has an attack and defense value). the cards are unit specific, so for example the mace windu deck would hold cards for windu and the clone troopers he deploys with. there are also force power and special ability cards mixed in to spice up the flavor of the game.
malifaux is actually pretty close, albeit way more complicated rules wise... you could also try and dig up a copy of the GW kill teams rules, i believe the current rules can be found in the battle missions scenario book...
otherwise, you could always just play the game and sub in your own models

| Yeah it sucks when games like this get so rare that they exceed their value. There is no way that game was worth 100 dollars to me. | |

| Yeah, I have this game as well. It was the prelude to Star Wars Miniatures. Had lots of fun playing this game. | |

Gridded map is the same, but each mini has a stat card. A d20 is rolled for attacks instead of using a deck of cards. Very easy to learn and play, but does have a level of strategy to it.

| In Star Wars minis d20 you have to build your teams around a leader figure if you want to play to have a chance to win. Otherwise, buying packs and playing straight out of the packs is fun.
We had sealed events and build your own events at CHG until the game was canceled by Wizards.
