Thought I would throw out a reminder that Hobbytown in B'ville has a 40K tourny Nov 14th (9am and 1850 points). They lost their gaming space next door, but have it planned out to be able to fit eight tables in their main showroom. Supposedly, the HT tourny and Hogs of War made the most recent issue of WD (Skaven on the cover)?

I'm out - new baby and all. I will try to stop by and see how it is going if tiny baby Kate cooperates. I will have to round up a White Dwarf and see if we made it. That is pretty exciting if we did.

I was planning it. I will be up in Columbia, MO this weekend (Stef has a baby shower) and intend to get some practice at the local hobby store there prior to the tourny.

Just a bump here to remind everyone that the tournament this weekend is still on!
It's a GW sanctioned tourney with lots of great prizes, such as a $90 prize for the overall winner!
For more info, feel free to PM me.

Tournament starts at 9:00AM, Hobbytown in Bentonville!

I'll see about making sure that gets fixed.

I got a Saturday pass for good behavior. Looking forward to playing Saturday.....

Big Al - should I bring my guard, blood angels, or eldar?

Hmmm. I would say brind either the guard or the eldar. I would suspect that we'll probably be marine heavy as usual. But don't quote me on that.

As much as I would like to have another chance to TRY and beat your guard, I think we all know what your Guard are capable of (time and time again). They are neigh unstoppable. So I say, try something new and fresh. Make the race for the gold a mystery. :)

Hey, if you guys end up with an odd number of players, I'd be willing to jump in again to even things out if someone will bring an extra army for me to use (Imperial armies are my preference, but I'd be willing to try just about anything).
I'm planning on coming anyway to take some photos for a photography assignment I've got due in a couple of weeks. I'll bring my nice new D40 camera if you guys want some decent pics to post on the web.

Congrats to Alex on winning today's Hobby Town tournament. He made a nice haul of a 90$ gift card after defeating blood angels, Vulkan hestan, and Pedro Kantor. His nids put the beat down on marines! Second place was 30$. Third place and best sportsman was 15$ each!

Fun little tourney! Good job guys.
