Upcoming Events

September 7-8: Grand Opening Weekend. On the 7th we will have open gaming, introductory games, opening hobbying and a BBQ for our customers. On the 8th we will have an apocalypse game (standard Warhammer 40,000 allies applies), Kill Team games (200 pts, using the official event pack from Games Workshop). BBQ will be provided for the customers.

October 12: Search for the New World Event. On Columbus Day weekend, we will start an escalation force Warhammer 40,000 league. Games will be 500 points. You cannot change armies during the escalation. We will play point values between 500, 750, 1000. 1250 and 1500 pts. There is also open gaming and paint rooms as always.

November 9-10: Veterans of the Long War Tournament. On the 9th we will honor the Veterans Day (in advance) by hosting a series of games starting at 9am. Every 2 hours we will increase the points for each game. There will be random events within the games that will be provided by poker chips on the table. These chips will be numbered and will correspond to a sheet of random events. These will either be good or bad for the turn. We will also attempt to hold some Drop Zone Commander Games this day as well. Lunch will be provided. On the 10th, in honor of the Marine Corps Birthday, we will host an apocalypse game, Space Marines vs. Chaos space marines only (standard Warhammer 40,000 allies only). Lunch will be provided. As always, kill team games and hobby room is also open.

December 14-15: War for Tots. This event will take place over 2 separate days and de treated as 2 separate events due to limited space and tables. This tournament will cost, we request toy(s) with a value of $20+. All toys will be donated to the Marine Corps for Toys for Tots. This will be a series of 1000 point Warhammer 40k games (standard for org). We will also try and host a magic tournament, same entry fee applies). We will award prizes at the end of the day, lunch will be provided.

Saturday, 24 August, 2013, from 10 am til finished, we will have the pressganger, "Gonzo" coming from Fort Smith to do demo games and intros for Warmachine and Hordes.
