I did it, I finally finished painting an army, after working on them on and off for the better part of a year... now I've just got to figure out how to base them. Here's what would have been my army for IDM 2012, and what is now most likely going to be the starting point for my army for IDM 2013

banner is cardstock soaked in a mixture of elmer's school glue and water.
The strange lumps on the marker are where I tried to take a pin vise to it to give it bullet holes
The design is adapted from the banner in Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai

I'm seriously considering doing snow bases, in order to contrast with the darkness of the armor. Another option is some sort of desert base, I may do some test models and see how it goes

Spent the evening experimenting with hot glue and wire, looking at how to make some ghostly miasma, or something just to give them a little more of an ethereal air other than being terminators of a different color
