Space Marine shooty list

I wanted to see what I could make if I maximized 48 inch shooting. Vanilla marines are shoot first, everything else second so I think this could actually do okay. The whole concept is kind of like a tau army in that I would castle up in my backfield and force my enemy to come to me. with that many twin linked shots, I think it would do okay.

To be honest, you've made better. It seems to focus on antimech completely. You seem to be trying to replicate BA or SW Razorspam but without the newer codex benefits. Not sure about this one.

I agree with Big Al, this just doesn't look like an all comers list. If you were just trying to fit in lascannons, then you did well, but I don't see enough punch within this list to win consistently. The first drop list that got all up on you would make you cry. I can just hear Big D hollering "With Hammers!" as he mowed through your boxes. The fact is that no one makes a castle bigger or better than IG.

If youre going to run this why not BA so all your vehicles are fast?

Just remember necrons can make it night fight at least two times on your turn only.

Still very shooty with almost no cc support. If you want shooty vehicles, why not go BA and be fast? Also, unless you combat squad one of your tact squads, your libby has no home. I doubt you want him walking around on his own. No knocking my socks off, man.
