Which army to do

Hey everyone, I know I did this last year but this time I am not going to ask everything about the armies, I am just trying to decide and I really dont know very much about 40k but i know i dont want to play Nids, IGbecause I just cant afford all that and my fantasy stuff, I dont want to play Eldar, I dont want to do Witch Hunters or Orks either
So yeah

Here's my suggestion:

Grey Knight Paladin Death Star

Lord Draigo 275
Ordo Malleus Inquisitor w/ Term Armour & psycannon 80
Paladins x10, psycannon x4, Brotherhood Banner, psybolts, warding stave 695
Paladins x10, psycannon x4, Brotherhood Banner, psybolts, warding stave 695
Land Raider Redeemer 245

Total 1990 Points

Combat Squad one of the units and put half of them and Draigo in the Redeemer
Take the other half with all the psycannons and move forward 6 and shoot each turn.
Run forward and kill things!!

The main Armies am looking at are Tau(because they blew me away in a game i played once), Dark Eldar(because they are cool looking but, they are kinda dark), grey knights(because they look awesome, but they are expensive, but probably a lot of people are going to start playing them now), and normal space Marine(because well they are pretty cool too)
I am kind of leaning at this point towards the Tau because they are cool and i have a small army of them, and because in the first turn for 2 hours straight the person i played against blew almost all of my orks away

Complete duplication of topic. All you've done is switched up which armies you're supposedly going to start.

Though Dark Eldar and Tau are cool and shooty and all, think of people's faces when you roll out 20 two wound termies and 2 IC in termie armour and a Land Raider. It should terrify people. Especially Dannato's and Monkey's Daemons.

Padawan, one word Necrons.

Yup. You'll get about 8 tau units put together by the time the Necrons hit and it'll be all over.

In all seriousness some kind of space marine is probably what you want to go for. Either grey knights, space wolves or blood angels are probably the best choices.

Tau has a steep learning curve for a starting player. They are fun to paint though.

Do you guys think that GW will release new Necrons(codex and figures) because they are cool looking and I have two necron lords and 2 sets of warriors

They are next up after Tau, probably end of this year.

Lol'd pretty hard. Good to see people get gotten on April Fools. Also, Dan is the ultimate spirit guide.

I'd say just pick an army and stick with it. Might be a pleasant change for you.

Going to do an UltraMarines army( I have a ton of space marines)
Or maybe Blood Angels
