I just traded a bunch of 40k bits for a fully painted circle of something or another...I believe the druid elf people. I'm assuming this is a pretty sweet deal, considering it was a bunch of useless parts that I traded. I believe it is all the contents of the starter box. Anyone know what that entails?

a Circle starter should have Kaya, 2 argus, and a feral warpwolf if i am remembering correctly. That is 17 points right there, so you have a good jumping in point with the circle. You should go up to CHG the thursday after you get them and see if anyone would be willing to give you a tutorial game. Everyone is usually up for it.

We always have tons of people who are willing to train a newb...to the zone...(old EQ 1 speak)

Just kidding!

Mike and Adam are our official trainers, others would be glad to help. Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays are the main days we have games going on. We had one game going on tonight, but I believe that was a grudge match. Mike won it by smashing through a line and killing a caster using cavalry rules on a jack.

Thanks for the recommendation, Haren.

I'm not sure what he is sending of that, but that is the stuff he had painted in his gallery so im assuming it will look something like that

Umm, just my opinion, but those look like they are Simple Green ready. I guess they are a good trade for a box of bits you didn't want.

Idk, I like the beast paint jobs, but the druids and the trakers were a little ehh. That said, If you happen to get all of that, all you need is a lock and your set for a 25-30 point game I think. That said, lets not count your chickens just yet.

Yeah, I just dont want to paint anything but my tau for now. I have a massive project looming in front of me. My guess is he will be pretty fair on what he gives me. He is one of the moderators for the site, so it would look pretty bad if he short changes me.
