so i received an email from GW regarding the tournament circuit, and that January 28th-30th is the Shiloh Slaughter, here in Fayetteville. Can someone enlighten me as to what is entailed in this event, registration, army requirements, etc? and if it would be too ambitious of such a new player as myself entering? (given all the hardcore players that i'm sure will be there, hoping to score a trip to vegas...)

Our annual 40K tournament will be in June.

sadly, i'm in toronto every year from may to beginning of august...
