Hogs of war 40k Scenarios Empty
PostSubject: Hogs of war 40k Scenarios   Hogs of war 40k Scenarios Icon_minitime11th June 2009, 12:09 pm

As I post these scenarios to the blog, I thought I would redo so here. That will make it easier for everyone to have access to them in one place.
If you have scenario ideas, or find others online, please feel free to post them here as well.

PostSubject: Homebrew 40k Scenario #1 - Dont Press that Button   Hogs of war 40k Scenarios Icon_minitime11th June 2009, 12:09 pm

Don’t Touch That Button (Inspired by Adepticon)

Deployment - Place a large building piece of terrain in the center of the board. There is a piece of critical intelligence in this building. Other terrain is deployed as normal. Armies are deployed as a Dawn of War deployment, but no model may be deployed within 12” of the center terrain piece, including infiltrators.

Rules - Once per game, at the start of a players turn, he may choose to use an orbital bombardment. That player may place the large blast anywhere on the table. This scatters 2d6 inches without BS and negates cover saves. It is Strength 10, AP 1. Each player may use this blast once.

Additionally, the central piece of terrain is treated as dangerous terrain.

Scoring –
6 points – You control the central terrain piece at the end of the game, as per scoring units
4 points – No one controls the central terrain piece, as per scoring units, at the end of the game
5 points – Your Highest Point Cost HQ is alive and in the central terrain at the end of the game
5 points - Your opponent has no troops left at the end of the game

+2 points – You did not use your orbital bombardment in the game
+2 points – You have the largest number of models in the central terrain piece at the end of the game.
