allies question

i was reading the rulebook and i found something that intrigued my interests

if you're playing a game of 2,000 points
or more, you can talce an additional primary detachment.
This gives you access to up to six choices each from elites,
fast attack and heavy support, up to four HCf choices, a
rnassive potentiai of up to twelve troops choices, an additional
allied detachment and an additional fortification.


with this statement mean that if i take 2 hqs and 4 troops i can have two diffrent allied detacments


say i take ultramarines and i take a captain and 4 scout squads can i aslo take belial a sqad of terminators and dante and a squad of sangunary guard

You would need either the BA or DA to have another troop as the second ally requires a second primary, i.e. one Hq and 2 troops minimum.

Minimums -

Primary - Required
1 HQ, 2 Troops
Allies - Optional
1 HQ, 1 Troop

Secondary - Optional (Required for second ally slot)
1 HQ, 2 Troops
Allies - Optional
1 HQ, 1 Troop

Your second primary must be the same army as the first. The same stands for your second allied being the same army as the first.
