Well, we finally finished the 3 preliminary rounds, and each team played each other as well as a goblin ringer team. All the teams, except the goblins, finished 2-1. That means that it comes down to points to decide who plays in the finals. The High Elf team, coached by Steely Dan, was found to be the leader in points, so was put into the finals. The other 2 teams, humans and Amazons, were a mere 1 point apart until the rushing stats and MVP stats came into play, and it was found that the Amazons will travel to the finals to face the High Elves in a rematch of one of the most exciting games of the prelims.
In the first contest between the 2 teams, the High Elves got off to a fast start with a 75 yard hiden ball trick that had the crowd in a frenzy. The Elves, also known as the Sons of Alith Anar, snuck one into the end zone, and the fans were irate. The Amazons, AKA Bloodwiser BAbes, had a huge fan following, and in the remaining minutes of the game, they were the major factor in the turnaround by the Babes. First a rock flew out of the stands, knocking out an Elf. Then the ref was replaced with a blind fool that saw nothing wrong with women kicking elves while they were down.
The game ended with the Amazons eeking out a 2-1 victory. The Elves fought through that first game defeat to rally and take over the league lead, setting up the rematch. The winner of the rematch will take on the Chaos All Stars in the finals of the Chaos Cup 2012. The Chaos team features 4 major stars, Morg'n'Thorg the Ogre, Blackhoof the Minotaur, Ripper Bolgrot the star Troll, and the Head Coach Lord Borak the Despoiler. The remainder of the team is all beastmen. A full hous is a guarantee for this bloodbowl!
