Sorry for the delay, I have some last minute adjustments. What hours will TSE be open Wednesday? I should have my list finalized and in your hands by then.

We will not be open on the 4th so I can spend time with my family. Just drop it by when you can.

Gentlemen,
I have had 9 guys drop in the last 3 days. Couple that with the fact that Gregson and 2 others canceled 3 weeks ago because of guard duty and the fact that Nick Huismann backed out for job reasons. I am cancelling the remaing two out of town players that were coming (not including blake) and I have had to cancel the hotel for lack of players. If you guys would still like to play we can still hold the tournament at the shop. Just let me know what you would like to do.

I'll play if it's 5th, but I'm sure everyone will want to play 6th. I'm out.

I've been talking to Brian. With the Cancelation of IDM we are going to run something a little wacky to help with the transition to 6e in its place.

No one knows the 6e rules very well, and die hard competitive has its place - but this won't be it!

This will be to learn 6e, have some fun, and maybe learn a new army or die trying.

This will be a one day tournament, Saturday at TSE:

We are going to do a Reverse Tournament Saturday.

Make a list using models you have for 1999+1 point with one FOC.
Everything must by Wysiwyg.
NO PROXIES ALLOWED. If you don't own a model, dont put it in the list.
You may use Allies.
You may use Terrain, with the exception of the fortress of redemption.

Here's the rub:
At the start of the day, you will give the list you made and the army your brought away to another person. Randomly. You won't be playing your stuff.

You will also receive a random army and a random List.

Brian will set Terrain, decide if Warlord traits are used, and pick the scenarios and setup to use. You will keep track of your total victory points throughout all three games.

There will be a Prize for the Best General, so try to know as much as you can about other armies and 6e.

There will be a Prize for the Best List. If you create a list that wins it all, you get a prize too! So it behooves you to not bring a crapola list!

You get your stuff back at the end of the day too. If its not in one piece, let everyone know and we will take that person outside for parking lot Jousting.

Saturday runs on the same schedule as IDM

Got a question for you guys.

Exactly two weeks ago my wife and I found out we had landed jobs with a school system in Alaska. 5 weeks notice isn't too bad for a move but then we discovered the rub. There are no roads where we are moving so everything has to be either barged in or flown in. Because of that, moving is done via the Post Office which typically takes 4-5 weeks. Needless to say, we had to drop everything and focus on packing then mailing out a household of 4. This brought progress on my IG army to a screeching halt.

I try not to disrespect people in an actual tournie by laying down half-finished models, and when I asked Brian about it, rather than having me drop out, he graciously granted me an allowance for this at IDM due to the circumstances. That brings us to the present situation. Jester's idea sounds like a lot of fun, but I do not want to force people to play a half-assembled, unpainted army.

What do you guys think? My army is vehicle-centric and those are 90% assembled with weapons options clearly shown. The majority of the lack of assembly is on the ~45 Guardsmen in the army. I'm painting camo so did not mount the arms because I planned to paint them seperately. I could use poster putty to tack them on for the tournie.

I believe it is 15$. This will come out of what was already paid for IDM if you are paid up.

Get with Brian for the remainder of what you paid.

You make a 2000 point list but use the FOC for 1999. That is why it is 1999+1point.

No its 1999 points, but you can be over by one point.

Why, you ask?

Because in 6th at 2k points, you get 2 Force Organization Charts to work with. That doesn't fly for tournaments, though.

Feel free to alter your list up for 6th, man. Your list doesn't have to be the same as what you turned in for idm.

I am changing mine up. And I intend on doing them in crayon.

With Allies, it has to be an army allowed. Space Marines can ally with guard, and other marines.

In the Allies you can take a names character from the other book. You must take one HQ and One Troop selection from allies. Then you can take another troop selection, one fast, one elite and one HQ from the ally.

Again it must be from the Ally battle Matrix. There are also differing degrees. If the armies are battle brothers then IC's can join units from the other army.
