Do you like Gothic?

When Gothic launched I loved the ships lines, I immediately got my self some Chaos and Imperial ships, after playing something I got Dark Eldar, necrons and tyranids.

I love all the fleets but couldn't get eldar, tau orks I plan to some day get some ships but I don't know if that is going to be possible.

What ships are your prefered?.

I like the models, and the rules look interesting, but I've never been had the chance to play. I have the starter set hidden away somewhere around here, but that's all I ever bought.

If I was going to start playing this I think I would have to go with Orks. I have read through most of the rules for this and it seems pretty neat. Is there a player base for this arund here?

I don't know of anyone local playing it, but I'd be willing to give it a spin some time, especially if someone could provide the ships. Otherwise I'd have to try to find that starter box

I've started a space marine fleet to match my chapter. Best thing about BFG you can't paint a whole army in a week! Worst thing about BFG is finding people to play. Around the Little Rock area some of us are making well rounded all comer fleets to match our "main" army we play. We intend on doing this in apoc games with neat scenarios that affect what happens on the apoc game below. We also intend to use these fleets in a campaign I'm going to run after I get off my lazy ass. (Wait... I haven't been lazy at all. I've been doing commissions and like 8 armies for myself all at once cuz I'm dumb like that.) If anyone ever wants to play BFG let me know as I go up there to play in one of the NW tourneys about once every 2 months I can bring my fleet and we can throw down that night before at a game store or the hotel room I'll be in or what not. BFG is a fun game; however I am in the firm belief that it can only be fun for the "beer and pretzel" atmosphere. A game that isn't supported anymore can be broken quit easily by "gamey" players.

Hmmm. Sounds interesting. What point limit is recommended for BFG?

1500 pts is average play.

i have 2 battle barges and some other ships but not enough to flesh out a fleet im happy with. played a few games back in the day though and i love it.
