Transformers in 3D. At Alamo drafthouse. Dinner and beer while you watch! Why don't we have one of these in NWA? Did you enjoy the PSA? Or they still playing it? If not, check it out on Youtube. Hilarious!

| Update 6:
Will and I gamble against a six battlewagons team list. Played against an awesome bunch of folks from Tulsa. We were lucky to weather a horrendous amount of attacks and shooting. We come away with max points, somehow.

| Update seven.
We played a eldar and space wolf combo that seized the initiative. The war walkers and company decimated 'us' on Our first turn. We played to the end to keep the enemy off our objective. We lose but get good points out of the deal
The result:
Will and I hang on to win best sportsmanship.

| Holy jeez. There was no time for updates once the big tourney got started.
I will have a few more things on the front page soon about the trip.
After day one, I had just enough points to play in the winners bracket, and Eric, Matt and Dan just missed the cutoff.
Dan elected to not play the second day due to a concussion and bruised ribs. He can tell the story. I dont want to steal his thunder.
Eric played to win the rogue trader bracket in round three but fell just short. However, he carried the RTT side on sports and was awarded best sports overall! Excellent for less than a year of play!
I had a mediocre run in the GT bracket and finished 21st overall out of the field. Not bad. I finished all 7 games with perfect sports and was awardex the 'Golden Goat' by goatboy. It was for playing a dbag list but keeping perfect sports! Youve got to see this trophy he made and painted. Its hysterical!
So in all the hogs brought home all 4 sportsmanship awards at wargamescon! It was an awesome trip and I'm grateful to everyone who went and made it so much fun. Thanks Andy, Dan, Blake, Shawn, Matt, Eric and Will!
Looking forward to next year and hoping to take along even more folks!

| It was really a great time and made me ready to play some more. Thanks for the kind words Jeremy, all of you guys are the ones that are making me better even though I haven't played very long. I really appreciate everyone that went, and on here, for keeping me from getting embarrassed.
I really think that we need more people next year. That really let us have a good time.
I've got some new list ideas, along with some tweaks to my current list that I came up with after playing more that I'll get thrown up this week. Meta's big two day tournament is coming up in August and I want to be ready to go play in it.

| I did my once in a while update on the blog yesterday to sum up my weekend experience, and updated it this morning (I know I know I shouldn't publish until I'm happy with it.) Loved the trip and can't wait for the next big trip the hogs go on. | |
