| k i dont see a spot for this so dropping it here. does anyone still play mordheim? i know you can use alot of the fantasy models for it so its easy to spin off a warband from stuff you already have. when this came out i was running a store in dallas and we had an absolute blast with this game. also on that note im tryint to find the army builder datafiles for it as that makes it very easy to build warbands and track stuff. i would be intrested in getting a group together maybe once a month to play even at my house.
lemme know if anyone interested.

| The Hogs love Mordheim as well. We actually had a campaign up and going but it sort of faltered out in the last spring. Its a great game!
You have to do some searching around to find the datafiles for AB - they quit updating them but Big D found em somewhere.
Where in NWA are you from Brutal?

| I have to give Mordheim a pass. I have such atrocious luck at that game that it has long since ceased to be fun | |

| I think you can download the book for free off the specialist games section. But I think that it uses the same skirmish rules found in the back of one of the old rulebooks(6th ed?) I have.
Played Mordheim a couple of times and had a blast. But surprising as it may sound, I play Skaven.
Also have the all Chaos offshoot, Path to Glory, that was included with a WD many moons a ago. Super fun as well.

| Here is the grand-daddy of all Mordheim links - http://www.mordheimer.com/index.htm
This site has a BUNCH of warbands, it is what we used last time we played. There are a few that are a bit overpowered (the Ogres and Wood Elves under the experimental rules) but for the most part they are all really balanced.
I have an army builder file that has pretty much all of these in it if anyone is interested.
I know that a few people have shown some interest up at War Pig so I reckon it is only a matter of time before a little league is thrown together.

| Yeah, Jester was talking about setting one up. I'm really pumped for this, and I'm definately going to buy a box of wood elves and paint them up for it | |

| What faction can you convert wood elf basic troops into? I want to play up a regiment of them for this game
X that, just found Big D's link...Shadow Warriors would be it I think, and I'm guessing based on the response above that we wouldnt be playing with them

| I think that Shadow Warriors were ok. I just remember that the straight Wood Elf faction was a bit nuts.
I think Jeremy actually played the Shadow Warriors a few years back and had pretty good luck with them.

| Yeah. Mordheim is really loose. Just get something close and run with it. The biggest thing is to have the right wargear (or something close to it) on them. | |

| In my limited experience with the game, straight Wood Elves can totally dominate Mordheim in the hands of a decent player. Their shooting abilities essentially allow you to kite your opponents, never really giving them a chance to fight back. | |

| I've looked at some pictures of people converting shadow warriors and I think I could do it pretty easy with the glade guard. I just really enjoyed painting them last time, and now that I have more skill I think I could do a really neat job on them.
On another note, what are we planning on playing pointwise? I want to start painting up my warband and want a rough estimate of what I'll need. Or are we evening still doing it?
I'm going to buy these minis regardless...
