Starting this Saturday I'll be running demo games at CHG of Warmachine from 4-5 pm. These demos will be just quick tutorial type games on a 2x2 surface. If any of you have been intrested in learning about the system revisions in MKII, or just how to play, it would be a great time to stop by and play a game.

Also, anyone who wants to play normal 25 - 50 point games are encuraged to come by and play on the other tables. I know we have at least 1-3 people, besides myself, who will make it on Saturdays for games so drop by.

I know nothing about this system except that the models look pretty cool. How many points does a game normally run and how many points does an average model cost? Might be something I pick up here and there because the models look really neat.

Is there a way I could base them to work in both 40k and Warmachine?

The average game is anywhere from 15 points for a battlegroup (faction start box) fight, all the way up to 50 points for most tourneys. Most games however are 25 & 35 points . The average point per model is about 1-5, exceptions being the warjacks and warcasters.

Warcasters are free point wise, and even add additional points to your army. An example is Kreoss, where he adds 6 points to your army to be spent on a warjack.

Warjacks run 4-13 points depending on their size and if their characters or not.

As for using them in 40k and WM, there might be a way. WM is 30-40-50mm bases. I think you could probably base the troops and mid bases on the smaller base for 40k then magnitize the bottems to stick them on their 30 & 40 bases. The heavy warjacks on the 50mm i think might actually be the same size as the dreadnaut base. It would just take trial and error to figure out the options.
