Anyone wanna go in on Bloodbowl?

I keep seeing the bloodbowl starter box and the game really intrigues me. If anyone is interested in splitting the cost of the starter pack and splitting the teams, let me know

If you want to check it out then your best bet is dl'ing the free rules pack from their site and using some proxy miniatures to see if you like.

I think the block dice are the only thing that you'll have to work at to use w/o buying the starter set.

Its a really great game also you can play it on pc now.

I think CHG has an open copy of the game so they should have the two teams from the box, Humans and Orcs. I would have to read the rules again, been a while since I played.

CHG does have an open copy. The pieces are on the "to paint" list.

The biggest problem with Bloodbowl is keeping the league going. A normal game takes between 45 minutes and 1 1/2 hours. Getting people to play on a regular basis is easy at first. Then you start getting other things that creep up, and before you know it, there are only 2 players left in the league. I'm down for a game of Bloodbowl, almost any time. I have a game at my house, a game at my kids house, and a game at the shop (TSE) I have been playing this game for about 12 years, and it is, by far, my favorite GW game.

There are no broken teams, except Elves, Chaos, Orcs, Skaven, Chaos, Lizardmen, Undead, and Ogres! The rest of the teams, humans, are just fine.
