Alright so lets get the planning started early on this who is planning to go and is everyone going to go for all 3 days?

I definately want to go but I haven't decided if I want to play 40k or fantasy.

Sounds like fun, but I doubt I'll be around for it. Plus, it's texass in July.

Ah, decisions...

Big D (Will), Myself, Monkey (Matt H), and Big Al (Alex) will all be going down for all three days, for certain. Last I heard, I also think Capn is planning on going? Once we get it figured out who all is going we need to make sure we are all a big group once we arrive in Austin. As of now Big D, myself, Monkey, Matt, Big Al, and Sweet E are planning on sharing a ride down. Sweet E is providing the van and I think he is only going down to be the standard bearer and to drink..... With so many going I am thinking he should have looked into a bus and not a 5 passenger van.

While we are there, Will has a date with two Man vs. Food endeavors for entertainment too. A giant hubcap sized doughnut and ( 8 ) 1lb breakfast tacos. He will need all the drunken support he can get.

As for armies:

I will most likely play my wraith wall in the doubles tourney and will probably play my guard in the 2k.

(I am thinking my blood angels for patriot this year).

Well depends on how it all goes and who is coming from little rock but if not many people are i may just drive up to NW arkansas and go with you guys. I will be playing CSM for the 2k tournament I am not sure if i will be playing anything else I may just chill and take pictures and try out any demos they have.

I want to go and If I'm not in the desert playing modern warfare or "school" I'll be there hands down. I'll be bringing the Dkok's unless I can't finish them in which case I'll resort the the marines.

I need to register for this just as quickly as I can get registered for Patriot.

Last Year BOLS gave out batallions randomly to people who had signed up early.....

so what would i need to buy to just play in that tournement?

You would have to buy their badge, and then the Saturday/Sunday gaming ticket. You only have to pay for Friday if you are going to play in the doubles.

Big D has registered.

I am registering this Thursday.

Anyone else paid up yet?

whats the fee at now? I'd really like to do doubles if anyone still needs a partner...I swear I've gotten alot better!

Check out bolscon.com. It's $30 to get in the door and $25 for the doubles (and $50 for the regular 40K tourny). All that doesn't include hotel, meals, and travel either.

List deadline got pushed back to July 15.

Submitted our lists, Alex. I had to give the warlock in the wraithguard unit the heavy flamer ability instead of conceal. I was 2 points over, and really didnt have anything else to spend the 5 points on. We will just have to use the gaunts as cover for the wraithguard. I think fortune was more important than the 5+ cover.

Nothing wrong with that. You might get more from destructor than conceal especially with the gaunt screens baiting units to charge them (or get charged).
