| I'll be starting up as a GM for either DH or Warhammer Fantasy 2nd edition game on Saturday February the 6th.
Actually we started DH tonight with 3 players. It looks like we'll have a stable group of around 5 players so if anybody wants to join in let me know. Not sure if we want to stay with DH or go to WHFRP 2E because the whole group wasn't there due to the storm.
Either game it will be a beginning group that is more roleplay oriented than roll-play. Any grenade-happy Guardsmen will be dealt with by our resident Commisar. Combat will occur and it will be horrific unless the players cooperate.
Our current group has had several mis-starts with DH and we will most likely ask someone who "refuses to play with others" to not come back.
We will be taking a break on Saturday February the 13th and will start right back up the following Saturday.
Give me a PM or come by the shop if you are interested. We probably have room for around 2 or 3 more players.
Thanks! | |

| There haven't been any solid deaths yet in Dark Heresy, but there have been several Fate Points used by the player group members.
A Space Hulk was boarded last week and that was a definite challenge with Zombies making an appearance.
MVP award was given to a party member Psyker who accidentally summoned a minor daemon while trying to cast a spell to confuse the zombies who were busy chewing on him. The daemon was confused for a moment and then finally sliced the Psyker to ribbons after missing for five combat rounds in a row with a MISS chance of 15%. The GM couldn't roll below an 85% on percentile dice to save his life.
Actually that probably saved a lot of group members' lives since the daemon only had a couple of rounds after killing the Psyker to cause any mayhem. A Priest was busily smashing the warp out of the daemon when its time ran out.

| It only went bad because they only had 1 Tech-Priest Tank instead of the 2 they're used to dealing with. If my lucky as hell, yet very consistent, avoidance had been there nothing would have gone wrong. | |

| Dark heresy is going well, one character has been lost ( a psyker ) and then another psyker got his arms and legs blown off when he was hugging a truck that another player blew apart when he shot a gunner with a bolt pistol and the gunner exploded. The psyker got turned into jiblets when the truck he was hugging blew up and then the truck next to it blew up as well. The tech priest that was standing in the middle of the explosions brushed himself off and walked away.
I guess that's what happens when you are mostly machine and have lots of nice armor. Also the tech priest was carrying an armored door in his extra arms. The door was blasted to jiblets along with the psyker but it prevented 9 wounds tearing into the tech priest. The door was replaced, the psyker was placed in a bag until he grew his arms and legs back. Hey, he provided some extra armor for the assassin. The assassin was sad when he lost his psyker meat shield back pack. And the psyker could cast Terror on anybody trying to sneak up on the assassin.
Now the team is on a floating ship that is taking them to a party where they get to spend a million Thrones on buying up banned archeotech. Eldar stuff and things like that. They are actually supposed to be keeping track of who buys what in the party they are going to. No arrests are to be made, just observations.
On the floating ship they have already run into and played some Regicide with some guys who are sporting some sort of tats that have Arch Enemy symbolism mixed in the tats. Not sure what the response will be with that.
Stay tuned! Join in if you want! There is always room for more meat shields. Errrr, aahhhh.......
