Did I miss something?

I've had my eye on this lamp for a while, but I noticed something on Amazon. There's 2 versions, and a pretty significant price difference. Did I miss something? They appear to be the same lamp...

The only real difference I see is that the first one (the more expensive one) has more pictures and comments, and ships faster (from a different supplier).

I'm about to pull the trigger on these, but the price difference has me hesitant - really would rather not waste money or go cheap and get an inferior lamp.

The lamps are from different sellers. The more expensive one is sold by Hyatt's All Things Creative and supported by Amazon, the other is from a company called Maxi-Aids.

Other than who's selling it, the lamps seem to be identical, so my guess would be that each has a different asking price, since the base price of $179.99 is the same.

Yep, I spent about a half hour looking them both over in detail. I don't use Amazon much, so I'm not used to seeing multiple entries like this for items. I already placed my order for the cheaper one, it's $150 with free shipping. The only real drawback is their processing/shipping time is slower, but I think it's worth a few bucks to wait. I've also ordered a softer bulb to replace the center one as per one of the reviews, the suggestion was that the three packaged with the lamp are harsh and slightly blue, replacing the center one balances things out nicely (and the replacement is cheaper than the ones from the manufacturer).

I'll have a review of this puppy once I've got it home and had a chance to put it through it's paces, I suspect it will make a big difference in my lighting situation (I'm working in a room with no windows, therefore no natural light, ever).
