Interesting, seems they slipped this one in pretty quietly last month... at least I didn't see it. The 2 big things I'm hearing about are vehicle mounted drones now die with their vehicle (if they had not already detached) and not counting for KP if they die this way, and smart missiles/seeker missiles negating all LOS based cover saves.

Wow....Suddenly I feel optimistic! Too bad the drone rule makes the SMS worthless. Why pay more for SMS when you can have free drone shields?? You better believe turn 1 disembarkment of drones, lining up in front of suits for the whole game to give cover.
Scratch that, just read it and saw they give KP if detached...

Not sure I understand this, if your drones have already disembarked they do count as a separate unit and kill point. The only time they're not a KP is when the vehicle they are still attached to is destroyed.
